Elk Brook Nubians

   Elk Brook Nubians is located in western Oregon, about 15 miles west of Interstate 5 between Eugene and Roseburg. Our ranch is nestled in a narrow valley between two mountain ranges. Elk Creek, a tributary of the Umpqua River, runs the full length of our property.
   Elk Brook does are very dairy with style, elegance, and outstanding conformation. We normally attend three to four shows a year, but due to illness, we were only able to attend one show and the Oregon State Fair. We weren't able to participate in Linear Appraisal in 2010 or 2011, but will be back on schedule for 2012. All of our does are descendants of GCH Elk Brook Leann 1*M and Elk Brook Beth. We strive for quality show animals that milk well and maintain a constant milk production throughout their lactations.
   Our animals are fed quality grain, grass hay and alfalfa. They are on a routine maintenance schedule for worming, vaccinations and hoof care. Does are housed by age, each group having a large pen in the barn and their own pasture. This is the 21st consecutive year that all our animals tested CAE negative. What an awesome milestone!
